These Terms apply to all travel experiences, retreats, and camps organized by Nomad Effect Sàrl, IDE CHE-417.809.012, Rue Daniel-Jeanrichard 28, 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.

By completing a pre-registration or making a payment through our website, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

1. Our Experiences

Nomad Effect organizes curated travel experiences, retreats, and camps in collaboration with selected partners (accommodation, transport, and activities).

All programs listed on our website qualify as package travel under the Swiss Federal Act on Package Travel (LVF).

2. What’s Included

Each experience page on our website clearly describes what is included in the package.

Unless otherwise stated, the following are not included:

flights or international transport
visas or entry permits
travel insurance
optional activities or personal expenses

3. Pre-Registration & Booking

Pre-registration is free and non-binding.

After pre-registration, you will receive a payment link by email to pay the deposit, which secures your place.

Each camp requires a minimum of 5 participants to operate.
If this number is not reached 60 days before the start date, the camp may be cancelled and all deposits will be refunded.

4. Payment

A deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the start date.

Failure to pay within the required deadline may result in cancellation of your booking.

5. Administrative Fee

Any cancellation or modification requested by the traveller may be subject to a €100 administrative fee.

6.Price Adjustments

Nomad Effect may adjust prices before departure due to:

increases in transport or fuel costs
changes in taxes or government fees
exchange-rate fluctuations

If a price increase exceeds 10% of the trip price, you may cancel your booking within 5 days and receive a full refund.

7. Traveller Responsibilities

Participants must:

provide accurate personal information
hold valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.)
respect local laws and program rules

Any costs resulting from missing or incorrect information remain the traveller’s responsibility.

8. Changes to the Program

Nomad Effect may adjust itineraries or services when necessary due to weather, safety, or operational reasons.

Whenever possible, an equivalent or higher-quality alternative will be provided.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Nomad Effect

If a camp is cancelled by Nomad Effect (except in cases of force majeure), all payments will be refunded.

Cancellation by the Traveller

More than 60 days before departure
Full refund minus €100 administrative fee.
Less than 60 days before departure
80% of the total trip price is retained.

Bookings may be transferred to another participant up to 30 days before departure, subject to approval.

10. Insurance

Travel insurance is not included.
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and repatriation.

11. Data Protection

Nomad Effect processes personal data in accordance with Swiss and European data protection regulations.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law.

Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
