12. Double Series Competition Rules
Participation in the Double Series tournament implies full acceptance of the present competition rules, which form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
Team Composition
Each team shall consist of two (2) amateur players competing together throughout the three rounds.
Tees
The competition shall be played from the following tees: amateur men (70+) from the yellow tees, amateur men (-70) from the white tees, and amateur women from the red tees.
Format of Play
The competition shall be played over 54 holes (3 rounds), with a different format each day:
Day 1 — Shamble (Net)
Both players tee off. The team selects the best drive.
From that position, each player plays their own ball until completion of the hole.
The best net score of the two players is recorded for the team.
Day 2 — Scramble (Net)
Both players play from the tee and from each subsequent shot.
The team selects the best ball after each stroke, and both players play from that position.
This process continues until the hole is completed.
The team score is recorded.
Day 3 — Greensome (Net)
Both players tee off. The team selects the best drive.
From that position, players play alternate shots until the hole is completed.
The team score is recorded.
Handicap
The competition is open to all amateur players with no handicap limit. However, handicap allowances shall be applied as follows: a maximum of 28 for men and 36 for women.
Handicap Calculation
Handicap calculations shall be applied according to the format of play.
For the Shamble format, 75% of each player’s individual handicap shall be used. For example, a player with a handicap of 10 will receive 7.5, and a player with a handicap of 20 will receive 15.
For the Scramble format, the team handicap shall be calculated as 35% of the lower handicap combined with 15% of the higher handicap. For example, a team composed of players with handicaps of 10 and 20 will have a team handicap calculated as follows: (10 × 35%) + (20 × 15%) = 3.5 + 3 = 6.5, rounded to 7.
For the Greensome format, the team handicap shall be determined by applying 60% of the lower handicap and 40% of the higher handicap. For example, a team composed of players with handicaps of 10 and 20 will have a team handicap calculated as follows: (10 × 60%) + (20 × 40%) = 6 + 8 = 14.
All resulting handicaps shall be rounded to the nearest whole number.
Handicap Adjustment
The organizing committee reserves the right to adjust the handicap of any player if deemed necessary to ensure fairness and preserve the integrity of the competition.
Scoring System
The competition shall be played under a Net scoring format, calculated according to the applicable handicap allowances for each format. Teams shall be ranked based on the total net score accumulated over the three rounds. A Gross classification shall also be established. The best team in Gross score over the competition shall be awarded. In accordance with competition rules, Net results take precedence over Gross results.
Tie-Break Procedure
In the event of a tie, teams shall be separated using a countback method based on the final round, by comparing the scores over the last 9 holes, then the last 6 holes, and finally the last 3 holes.
Recording of Scores
Scorecards must be completed and signed by both players. In case of dispute, the team shall be held responsible for the accuracy of the recorded scores.
On-Course Competitions
Additional contests shall be organized, including nearest to the pin for men and women on a daily basis, as well as longest drive for men and women during the final round.
Prizes
Prizes shall be awarded to the following categories: first Team Net, second Team Net, third Team Net and first team Gross.

14. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
